Also if any other mod changes the Biter's autoplace system, it'll for sure interfere with ERM's.Ĭost is fine. Maybe I'll resolve the crash in a future ERM version by making them bypass the level system, but it's not a priority for me atm.
Starcraft remastered sprites mods#
ERM does conflict some biter expansion mods due to leveling crash. I tested it with its default settings with no new enemy. Rampant shouldn't crash if you don't use its custom enemy tho. ERM doesn't support Rampant's custom enemies. Many things are integrated with the ERM and balanced with other ERM race mods. Not sure if i'm going to make a standalone version. This mod is designed as a part of ERM mods. Hope to see more great stuff from you in future!!! (bugreport) There are two wraiths with name "Scout" (green one and fast one) If there be a chance to find Starcraft Remastered sources.

I can help with sprites with AI software and some Photoshop, but I need source files. Maybe some automatisation like special blueprint for construction bots (like deconstruction plan)ĥ. +~100% each in multiple reserches will be enough imo.Ĥ. Some All-army/unit-based upgrades - health (!), passive Healing (!!!), move speed (?), shooting speed (?). I think, present balance can be "default" with hard (x2) and easy (/2) variants.ģ. Adjustable reserch and recipe prices in settings will be nice. Besides, there are plenty other "biter expansion" mods (Natural evolution and Bobs Enemies, for example), where personal army like this will be wery helpful.Ģ. Also, I encountered errors when erm try to rise race's level). Becouse ERM not going well with rampant (when rampant variations are turned on, and some areas of the map not spawning any enemies at all. Please, meke standalone version from ERM. Never I felt closer to RTS-like expirience in Factorio!īut, I have some complains and suggestions:ġ. worth every penny.First of all - I really like the idea and general feeling from this mod. Or if you're like me and played it in the 90s and still have a few discs laying around.
If you want to step into gaming history and experience a well balanced, 3 race RTS, this is the game for you.
I mean I personally have no issue swarming with the Zerg. Players that complain about the 12 unit selection group maximums, really small complaint when played correctly. works well (although I don't play the ladder, just with friends) -Graphics are good, I feel like it met my expectations of what I remember not how it actually was pixelated -Gameplay remains unchanged, and I get that people complain about AI pathing, but it's based on sprites, and the unique movement and play would be changed if they fixed it, so I'm happy about that. Blizzard left intact exploits that allowed for some of the best maps online. This is a perfect execution of what a remaster should be. Overall, even if you play remastered with the new graphics turned off, the game runs better on modern computers and allows the original game to carry on another 20 years. The graphics are still based on sprites, and it now plays on Windows 7 without hacks, fixes or manipulations to launching the game to fix graphics issues.
For all the complainers, lower reviews "just remastered" types out there, this isn't just a remastered game, it is still running an overhauled For all the complainers, lower reviews "just remastered" types out there, this isn't just a remastered game, it is still running an overhauled version of the original game engine from the 90s.
